The goldenrain tree, which rivals cherry blossoms in beauty, is just beginning to bloom. Its flowering season typically runs from March to April. The warm climate of southern Taiwan is ideal for the growth of goldenrain trees. The tree is covered with large peach-pink and white flowers that are much bigger than cherry blossoms. When in full bloom, they appear even more vibrant and the fragrance is even richer, creating an overwhelmingly gorgeous and romantic spectacle.

Goldenrain Tree Trail
Located in Xigang District, Tainan, the Goldenrain Tree Trail is currently in full bloom, presenting a dreamy scene of pink explosion that attracts many netizens to visit and take photos every year.

The goldenrain tree trail here originated from a single goldenrain tree planted in front of the home of the head of Jingsha Village. The stunning view during the blooming season inspired him to plant more trees throughout the community, eventually leading to the development of a trail lined with goldenrain trees along the railway.
