Father’s Day in Kaohsiung – Free Mayday Goodies for Check-ins

Various Father’s Day promotions are being rolled out. Starting August 8, when you travel to Kaohsiung, just upload the phrase “Love Traveling in Kaohsiung” as well as a photo of yourself, a father-son pair, father-daughter pair, couple, or spouses with a clearly visible landmark at any attraction, posted on your personal Facebook page. You can then exchange it for a limited-edition “Mayday’s Travel Taiwan · Kaohsiung First Choice Goodie Bag” at designated tourist service centers. On Father’s Day, the goodie bag also includes 88 additional “Love Boat” cruise tickets, “Kaohsiung Harbor Cruise Tickets,” “Black & White Heroes Southern Precinct Tickets,” and “Mayday City Cups,” among other great value gifts.

During the summer vacation, many domestic and international backpackers visit Kaohsiung for travel and accommodation. From August 8 to August 23, backpackers visiting any of the six tourist service centers (i Centers) operated by the Kaohsiung City Tourism Bureau can display a check-in screen that meets the event criteria via the free “i-Taiwan” Wi-Fi service on their smartphones, and exchange it for one limited-edition goodie bag. The bag includes a Mayday folder, postcards of Kaohsiung attractions, and a Kaohsiung gourmet handbook.

 

This check-in event coincides with Father’s Day, and additional limited-edition Father’s Day giveaways have been launched, including “Kaohsiung Harbor Cruise Tickets,” “Black & White Heroes Southern Precinct Tickets,” as well as “Mayday City Cups” and “Love Boat” cruise tickets. Prizes will be randomly placed inside the goodie bags for visitors to try their luck. Designated tourist service centers for exchanges include Kaohsiung Railway Station, Zuoying HSR Station, Cijin Ferry Terminal, Love River, Formosa Boulevard, and Lotus Pond.
