The alpine brand NORTHLAND officially makes its debut

The outdoor brand NORTHLAND, founded in 1973 in Steiermark, Austria, officially opened its first store in Taiwan in September in Taipei City. The store’s location was formerly a post office, and its exterior is a two-story Japanese-Western style building over 50 years old. Although it is situated on a major road, the tranquil atmosphere and alleyways make the surrounding environment feel peaceful and serene, allowing people to momentarily forget the hustle and bustle of urban life.

To preserve the charm of the aged stone-washed exterior wall, the new NORTHLAND Xinan store avoids eye-catching clashing colors, opting instead for a matching silver-gray tone paired with subtle lighting to retain the old building's character. In terms of interior space, the design mainly incorporates three elements from the Alps: natural stone as the base, raw wood, and snow-white metal, showcased respectively on the floors, walls, and furnishings. The color scheme draws inspiration from the Austrian flag, using red and white to create a bright and comfortable in-store atmosphere.

For 40 years since its founding, the NORTHLAND brand has remained committed to the comfortable and free-spirited Austrian outdoor ethos, dedicated to crafting the most comfortable and durable outdoor gear for outdoor enthusiasts.
