The Da Caihong Music Festival, taking place October 27–28 at Kaohsiung’s True Love Pier and Pier-2 Art Zone, will feature the country’s first-ever “Rock Banquet,” merging electrifying rock music with Taiwan’s local banquet traditions—letting audiences enjoy stir-fried street food while rocking out to performances by top musicians. More than 50 artist groups including Chen Qizhen, Lü Guangzhong, Chen Shanni, Luantan Axiang, 4ever, Chairman, and MC HOT DOG will perform across four stages in a continuous relay. The Rock Banquet ticket price is NT$1,780 per person per day.

Last year’s inaugural “Da Caihong Music Festival” attracted over 37,000 participants and received widespread acclaim. This year’s event is divided into seven zones based on the colors of the rainbow, running simultaneously. In addition to performances by more than 50 rock singers and bands—including Zhang Yunjing, Chen?, Universe People, and Echo—on four stages (Great Rainbow, Little Rainbow, Sunlight, and Moonlight), the festival also features creative art markets, music industry talks, and flea markets. Spanning an area equivalent to three Taipei Arenas, it’s a rare music carnival in Taiwan that blends pop music, local culture, and trendy market elements.

Additionally, from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM each day, the Moonlight Stage will host back-to-back sets by 18 independent rock bands. Pre-sale tickets are NT$900 for one day or NT$1,600 for two days; Rock Banquet package tickets are NT$1,000 or NT$1,780 per person per day, granting access to either the Moonlight Stage or all festival stages.
