Taiwan’s largest ITF Taipei International Travel Exhibition will be held from October 26 to 29. The event will take place simultaneously at Taipei World Trade Center Halls 1 and 3, featuring 60 countries, 850 exhibitors, and over 1,000 booths. Entering its 20th edition this year, the exhibition’s organizer, the Taiwan Visitors Association, has specially prepared two cars, international flight tickets, and 8,000 lucky bags to be given away to attendees during the expo. The scale of national theme pavilions has been further expanded, with Japan’s theme pavilion setting a new record with 106 booths, featuring six stage performances. South Korea will also send two popular groups to perform in Taiwan, while the U.S. Pavilion, which recently announced visa-free entry for Taiwanese travelers, will go all out in its marketing efforts.

This year, Hall 1 of the World Trade Center will again serve as the comprehensive travel zone, featuring international pavilions from around 60 countries, including those in the Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Americas, Africa, and the Middle East. Japan remains the largest exhibitor, with 106 booths. First-time exhibitors include Bhutan and Romania, both popular among Taiwanese travelers in recent years. Additionally, Hokkaido and various prefectures in Northeastern Japan will hold a special Japanese Products Fair on October 27 and 28 on the second floor of Hall 1, offering local specialties for sale and tastings of regional cuisines.

This year, Hall 1 has added a new Recommended Destinations section showcasing 20 cities and counties, bringing together local hotels, attractions, and tourism organizations. Around 300 domestic hotels and lodging businesses are participating, with some exhibiting in Hall 3’s Hotel & Leisure Lodge Zone, while others are joining city and county units in Hall 1. First-time exhibitors include the Victoria Hotel and the newly opened Okura Prestige Taipei. The Victoria Hotel will offer a special 50% discount on its famous gourmet steak set, priced at just NT$1,300.

To celebrate the 20th edition of the Taipei International Travel Exhibition, the organizers have launched the “20 Gifts, Double the Luck” campaign. Ticket holders can enter daily draws for airline tickets, accommodation vouchers, electric vehicle experience coupons, and more. On Saturday and Sunday, one Yulon Cubic Tobe m’car will be given away each day. Additionally, 8,000 lucky bags will be available during the expo—just collect stamps from both halls using the expo map, and 2,000 lucky bags will be given away each day.

Starting now, pre-order a double ticket at any 7-Eleven ibon nationwide for a discounted price of NT$360 (original price NT$400). Each double ticket includes two admissions, allowing either two people to enter together or separately. With an ibon-purchased expo ticket—whether single or double—you’ll instantly enjoy four types of discounts: buy-one-get-one-free coffee; buy-one-get-one-small COLD STONE Creamery ice cream; buy-four-get-two doughnuts; and buy-one-get-one 21st Century Roast Chicken meal. During the expo, holding an expo ticket not only qualifies you to win major travel prizes like cars and airline tickets, but also grants you access to special anniversary sale discounts on selected travel-related products at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi department stores.
