Michelin has released the fifth bilingual edition of the "Michelin Guide – Hong Kong & Macau," featuring a total of 286 restaurants and hotels from Hong Kong and 62 from Macau. This includes 65 newly added restaurants, 51 from Hong Kong, 14 from Macau, and one new hotel in Macau. This year, the Michelin Guide has expanded its coverage to include the Kennedy Town and Sai Ying Pun districts on Hong Kong Island, and has also added eight new types of dishes, fully reflecting the diverse culinary offerings in Hong Kong and Macau.

In the Hong Kong section, there are still four three-star restaurants, including Caprice and Lung King Heen at Four Seasons Hotel, as well as L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon and 8½ Otto e Mezzo–Bombana. There are 13 two-star restaurants, among which two are new Japanese establishments: Tenku Ryugin and Sushi Yoshitake. Meanwhile, Summer Palace at Island Shangri-La, Tian Long Heen at The Ritz-Carlton, and Ah Yat Harbour View Restaurant have all been upgraded from one star to two stars. In Macau, the three-star restaurant remains Robuchon au Dôme. There are four two-star restaurants, including 8 Restaurant, Wing Lei, and Zi Yat Heen, which remain unchanged, while Jing Hua Heen has been promoted from one star to two star. The one-star category includes Royal Court and Tao Heung Pavilion, with Royal Court being a new entry this year.

Additionally, the "Michelin Guide – Hong Kong & Macau" also lists 76 "Bib Gourmand" restaurants—68 in Hong Kong and 8 in Macau, with 18 of them being new additions. In the context of an economic downturn, the Bib Gourmand list has been well-received by readers, offering a selection of delicious, high-quality yet affordable dining options. These restaurants serve a three-course meal (excluding drinks) for just HKD or MOP 300 (approximately NTD 1,200), making them very popular with readers.
