The Alishan Sunrise Impression Music Concert is about to enter its 12th year. Over the years, the Sunrise Impression has etched deeply moving memories in the hearts of thousands. This year, the event organizer, the Forestry Bureau, Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan, Alishan Forest District Office, has chosen “Drumming. Shaking. Truly Moving” as the theme for the event, which will be held on December 31 and January 1 in the Alishan Forest Recreation Area, allowing the public to welcome the first light of the new year with music. In addition, the booking rates for major hotels and lodges in the Alishan area have already exceeded 90%. Those planning to head up the mountain for the sunrise are advised to book early.

The Alishan Sunrise Impression Music Concert launched a Facebook fan page in December, featuring a special “Great Deals in Chiayi, Amazing Sunrises” campaign.
