When traveling abroad, your flight ticket can be used not just as a souvenir but also to get discounts and great deals. Following its initial collaboration with Singapore Universal Studios and Macau Studio City in the second half of 2012, where transiting passengers could enjoy discounted tickets by presenting their flight tickets, which received positive feedback, TransAsia Airways’ first wave of flight ticket promotions this spring focuses on food and 3C convenience products favored by travelers. In partnership with Lawry’s The Prime Rib, Together Exist Group, and Tink Labs, the airline is offering special deals. Simply present your flight ticket during the promotional period to enjoy dining discounts or gifts, and you can also rent a mobile phone for one day free of charge at the Singapore Orchard Road Visitor Centre.

For the promotion with Lawry’s The Prime Rib, travelers who hold a flight ticket for Taipei–Singapore flights between February 15 and April 30 and dine at either the Taipei or Singapore branch of Lawry’s between February 18 and May 31 can enjoy the following: Business Class ticket holders ordering two prime rib meals can get one 6oz prime rib meal for free; Economy Class ticket holders dining with another person, both ordering main courses, will receive a 15% discount. As for the deal with Together Exist Group, from now until December 31, travelers can present their flight ticket at any branch of Crystal Spoon Thai Theme Restaurant, Silver Spoon Thai Hotpot, Bronze Spoon Sukiyaki, or Fat Olive Italian Theme Restaurant across Taiwan to receive free items such as crispy shrimp chips, taro sago dessert, chilled white fungus soup, and specialty drinks.
Additionally, from January 15 to April 30, travelers holding a Taipei–Singapore flight ticket can rent a mobile phone at the Handy service counter in the Singapore Orchard Road Visitor Centre. Those renting for two days or more are eligible for one free rental day. However, the flight ticket cannot be used in conjunction with discount vouchers provided when booking flights on the TransAsia Airways official website.
