Located at the foot of Yushan Mountain and the starting point of the Provincial Highway No. 21, Shuili Township in Nantou County will hold the “2013 Shuili Iron Horse Leisure Tour” on March 9. The street parade carnival that day will start at 16:00 from the entrance of Shuili Township Office, while the leisure evening party will take place from 18:00 to 21:00 on Minzu Bridge. The cycling competition on March 10 will be held from 05:00 to 09:00, starting from Shuili Township Office and heading to Tataga on the Provincial Highway No. 21.

This year’s bicycle riders’ welcome event in Shuili Township features the “Iron Horse Leisure Tour.” Anyone who completes the Cheting Trail ride on a bike has a chance to win gifts, while the “Old Iron Horses and Old Photos Exhibition” will showcase vintage photographs and classic bicycles from the township. Additionally, participants and riders can enjoy lucky draw tickets and discount vouchers for Shuili’s specialty snacks on the day of the event. A variety of local Shuili delicacies will also set up food stalls around Minzu Bridge, allowing participants and spectators to enjoy both the evening party and delicious local food.
