Known for its marine leisure and recreational activities, Xingda Fishing Port offers events year-round. From now until April 7 during holiday periods, the Kaohsiung City Ocean Affairs Bureau will once again launch pedal boats, heavy-duty sailboats, “Walker Bay” small sailboats, jet ski experiences, and water skiing performances among various water and land recreational activities at the port’s Lover’s Wharf, allowing the public to fully enjoy aquatic activities under the warm ocean breeze of the harbor city.

In addition to the rarely available heavy-duty sailboat experience, this event also features jet ski rides — known for their mobility, thrill, and dynamic movements — which will deliver an unforgettable experience. New additions include the ever-popular pedal boats and the adorable-looking “Walker Bay” small sailboats, providing families, couples, and visitors of all ages the joy of splashing around on the water. On the second floor of the Sea Theater, the long-prepared “Marine Environmental Education Promotion Classroom” will simultaneously present the Dongsha Special Exhibition, Marine Life A-B-C Special Exhibition, Ship Model Exhibition, and Marine Imagery Photography Exhibition. The operating hours for all water activities are from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM on event days, with paid experiences available for jet skis, heavy-duty sailboats, Walker Bay small sailboats, and pedal boats.
The Ocean Affairs Bureau stated that after a fun-filled day, visitors can enjoy a relaxing time by the harbor, taking in the cool and dazzling car audio light shows and the beautiful night scenery of Lover’s Wharf, or unwinding by listening to the soothing live music performances at the “Amphitrite Sailboat Themed Restaurant,” both of which offer great ways to soothe the soul.
