As the cold winter sheds its heavy coats and the warm spring breeze gently caresses the earth, the warm and blossoming holidays of Children's Day and Tomb Sweeping Day are also perfect times for a getaway. Have you prepared your travel plans yet? Why not take advantage of the pleasant weather to explore New Taipei City? The New Taipei City Tourism Bureau recommends seven spring holiday travel routes where you can visit various attractions and trace the traces of spring’s charm.

Shuiliandong’s Spring Wildflower Trail
Come to Shuiliandong to experience the tranquility and lush greenery of spring. Start your visit with the “Exhibition Art Gallery” (Mountain Town Art Museum), and through the warm smiles of the art practitioners, you can naturally feel the comfort and serenity of mountain life. The gallery hosts irregular exhibitions, live performances, DIY experiences, and you might even get to taste special meals made with seasonal ingredients or share tea with the hosts of the Mountain Town. From April 6 to May 19, the Mountain Town Art Museum will present an iron sculpture art exhibition.
Leaving the Mountain Town Art Museum, you can walk along the Golden Waterfall toward the romantic highway, and following the trail of blooming wildflowers, you’ll discover the hidden Three-Layer Bridge along the path. Stop for a moment to appreciate the beauty of time standing still.

Visitors can also join the ecological classroom guided tours of Baxian Settlement to learn about the rich ecology, culture, stone masonry landscapes, and production methods of the area.
