This year, the Alishan National Scenic Area Administration has collaborated with Taiwan High Speed Rail to launch the “Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Alishan Line High-Speed Rail Joint Ticket.” The package offers a round-trip discounted fare of NT$486 from Chiayi HSR Station to Alishan Station, along with a 25% discount on standard-class high-speed rail tickets. It also provides an added bonus: purchase an Alishan National Forest Recreation Area admission ticket for NT$150 and get a free one-way ride on the Alishan Forest Railway from Alishan Station to Jhapi Station.
