Holding a wedding in an island chapel set against a backdrop of blue seas and white sandy beaches has become a popular trend and a dreamy scene for couples exchanging vows. But for married couples who didn’t have the perfect ceremony back then, it remains an unfulfilled dream. Now, the Guam Visitors Bureau is offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to sweet couples who want to “Say Yes Again” or former couples hoping to rekindle their bond. By signing up for the “Say I Do Again” campaign starting today, selected couples will fly to Guam together and say “I Do” once more in a stunning ocean-view chapel, experiencing the most romantic vow renewal ceremony.

As a top choice for weddings or honeymoons, Guam offers an unparalleled romantic atmosphere. Likewise, for married couples of all ages, Guam boasts rich cultural heritage, diverse water activities, and a comfortable shopping environment, making it the ideal place to renew wedding vows and share precious moments with family. Yan Defen, Representative of the Guam Visitors Bureau Taiwan Office, said: “The ‘Say I Do Again’ campaign also aims to highlight the value of marriage commitments. Aside from entering the competition yourselves, we encourage the public to sign up and campaign for their parents or even grandparents!”

The “Say I Do Again” competition, organized by the Guam Visitors Bureau and co-hosted by Howard Weddings, will award the winning couple a five-day, three-night Guam vow renewal trip worth over NT$200,000. The prize includes round-trip flights between Taipei and Guam for two, three nights’ stay at a premium hotel, and a vow renewal ceremony at the popular “Blue Aster Chapel” with breathtaking ocean views, along with a full wedding package including hair, makeup, attire, bridal photography, and wedding videography services.

This campaign is open to married couples or former couples hoping to reconcile. Applicants must upload sweet photos of the couple to the campaign website and explain why they deserve to win the grand prize. The first phase runs from now until June 21, during which 20 pairs will be selected as finalists based on online popularity and judging panel evaluation. The selection criteria are 60% story appeal—judges will score based on the emotional impact of the stories, photos, and videos submitted, as well as their ability to engage and inspire online shares and responses—and 40% based on the number of votes received. Additionally, participants who record a video in front of the photo wall at the Guam booth (Booth No. A1414) at the Taipei Travel Fair held at Taipei World Trade Center from May 24–27 can earn extra points. The second-phase finalists will be announced on the campaign website on June 26 and interviewed before the end of June, after which the judging panel will select the ultimate winning couple. Friends and family of participants can also join a lucky draw, with the top prize being round-trip Taipei–Guam flights for attending the ceremony.
