Disney park enthusiasts, there’s a new themed land to check out at Hong Kong Disneyland. Following the opening of Grizzly Gulch last year, the park has this month completed the final attraction in its first phase of expansion — the one-of-a-kind “Mystic Point,” offering fans a fresh holiday option this summer. Mystic Point consists of five areas: the Mystic Manor, the Enchanted Garden, the Adventurers’ Club Restaurant, the Mystic Keepsakes Shop, and the Mystic Point Station. It features seven “must-not-miss” immersive sensory highlights that allow guests to experience cutting-edge technology premiering at any Disney park worldwide, as well as admire global handicrafts, cultural performances, cuisine, and souvenirs.

Within the newly opened Mystic Point, Hong Kong Disneyland takes guests on a captivating journey into a world of fantasy, with its seven must-see highlights designed to thrill the senses — including the unmissable “Mystic Manor,” the essential “Music of the Spheres” score composed by Danny Elfman, the thrilling “Mystic Magneto-Electric Car,” the Instagram-worthy “Enchanted Garden,” the intriguing “Mystic Point Station,” the delicious offerings at the “Adventurers’ Club Restaurant,” and the irresistible shopping at the “Mystic Keepsakes Shop,” providing guests with an unforgettable experience of the fantastical.

Mystic Point is based on an original Disney story about the great explorer Sir Henry, who loved collecting rare oddities. He amassed over 7,000 treasures from his global adventures. However, his mischievous monkey assistant, Albert, disobeys his warnings and opens the latest magical music box he acquired, unleashing the enchanted “Music of the Spheres.” What follows is an extraordinary adventure. The “Music of the Spheres” is brought to life using the world’s most advanced projection effects technology, creating dazzling light effects. Guests can also ride the park’s first-ever trackless ride system — the “Mystic Magneto-Electric Car” — which offers omnidirectional movement at all times, ensuring no amazing moment is missed.

In the “Mystic Manor,” Hong Kong Disneyland is the first in the world to use a newly designed 4K ultra-high-definition projector. Across 11 custom-designed scenes, guests can get up close to 40 visual effects created by 36 projectors, including 4 ultra-high-definition 4K projectors. During the experience, guests can also enjoy a brand-new musical score by Oscar-nominated and Grammy-winning composer Danny Elfman.

After experiencing the vibrant splendor of the “Mystic Manor,” the “Enchanted Garden” showcases unusual ancient sculptures and paintings with 3D anamorphic effects — allowing guests to snap fun 3D illusion photos. At the “Mystic Point Station,” Sir Henry’s great-nephew shares fascinating tales of their global travels, and cultural ambassadors from Egypt, Bulgaria, North America, India, and Mexico present traditional attire and performances that highlight diverse international cultures. The “Adventurers’ Club Restaurant” serves up delectable dishes across five exotically themed halls, featuring 16 specially curated selections from Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia — many making their Hong Kong Disneyland debut. The “Mystic Keepsakes Shop” offers over 140 souvenirs, including Mystic Manor-themed items, Mickey Mouse adventure collectibles, exclusive merchandise from Disney parks around the world, and handcrafted goods from various countries, along with limited-edition items.
