Readers planning a summer trip to Hong Kong, take note!* After last year’s Grizzly Gulch themed land, Hong Kong Disneyland is once again debuting the world’s only “Mystic Point.” Guests visiting Hong Kong Disneyland will be among the first to experience seven “must-see” fantastical sensory hotspots and witness cutting-edge technology premiering in any Disney park worldwide. They can also explore handicrafts, cultural performances, cuisine, and souvenirs from around the globe, embarking on a wondrous and fun-filled adventure.

Hong Kong Disneyland’s globally unique “Mystic Point” themed area consists of five parts: “The Manor of Mysteries,” “The Enchanted Garden,” “The Adventurer’s Club Restaurant,” “The Mystic Point Curio Shop,” and “Mystic Point Station.” It is based on an original Disney story about the great explorer Lord Henry Mystic, who loves collecting rare and unusual artifacts. However, his mischievous monkey assistant, Albert, disobeys his warnings and opens the latest addition to the collection—a magical music box—releasing mysterious “music star dust” with magical powers, setting off a fantastical journey.

The “Manor of Mysteries,” with its Victorian-style architecture, is the first of its kind in any Disney park. It houses over 7,000 rare and exotic artifacts from around the world, giving guests the feeling of traveling the globe in one go. In addition, the park introduces for the first time the “Mystic Magneto-Electric Car,” equipped with a rotating car frame. It is operated by 200 RFID (radio frequency identification) tags and wireless communication technologies, enabling omnidirectional movement at all times for a fully immersive 360-degree experience. Alongside the thrilling story, guests will hear the mysterious and fantastical soundtrack “Music Star Dust,” specially composed by Grammy Award-winning composer Danny Elfman, combined with the most advanced projection effects technology in the world, creating dazzling light effects that heighten the excitement of the journey.

After enjoying the colorful splendor of the “Manor of Mysteries,” guests shouldn’t miss the other four must-visit hotspots. The “Enchanted Garden” features extraordinary ancient sculptures and paintings with 3D anamorphic illusions, allowing guests to take fun photos with magical 3D visual tricks. Guests can also head to “Mystic Point Station,” where Lord Henry Mystic’s great-nephew shares fascinating tales of his global travels with the eccentric lord, and invites cultural ambassadors from Egypt, Bulgaria, North America, India, and Mexico. Dressed in traditional costumes, they perform to showcase the vibrant colors of their cultures.

For those looking to indulge in delicious food, “The Adventurer’s Club Restaurant” offers quick-service dining. Guests can enjoy a selection of 16 carefully chosen dishes from Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia—many making their Hong Kong Disneyland debut—while surrounded by exceptional craftsmanship and five halls filled with exotic flair.

Another must-visit spot is the “Mystic Point Curio Shop,” which includes four themed sections: the Manor of Mysteries, Mickey & Friends Adventures, Disney Park treasures from around the world, and artisan crafts from various countries. With over 140 gift items available for purchase, the shop also offers limited-edition collectibles.
