Cotai Strip Macao’s “DreamWorks Experience”: Get Close to Beloved Animation Characters

Cotai Strip Macao launched the “The Strip – DreamWorks Experience” starting July 1. Beloved DreamWorks animation characters will make special appearances, allowing visitors to interact up close with popular figures such as Po from Kung Fu Panda, Shrek, Princess Fiona, and Puss in Boots from Shrek, as well as Alex the lion, King Julien the lemur, and the Penguins of Madagascar from Madagascar. These DreamWorks stars will meet and greet guests one-on-one. There will also be amazing DreamWorks-themed parades held daily within the resort, along with themed dining experiences featuring the animation characters. Hotel rooms offer DreamWorks services and themed facilities, guaranteeing fun for the whole family.

The Venetian’s “Dinosaurs Come Alive” interactive exhibit lets you encounter prehistoric creatures

From July 1 to October 1, The Venetian Macao Resort Hotel presents the “Dinosaurs Come Alive” interactive exhibit, where parents and kids can grab their explorer gear and journey back 250 million years for an exciting adventure. The exhibit features over 30 hyper-realistic moving dinosaur models that breathe, walk, and even roar. Aside from interacting with these colossal prehistoric beasts, visitors can also watch 3D dinosaur movies or take a ride on a dinosaur’s back. The “Dinosaurs Come Alive” exhibit runs daily from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM (last entry at 7:00 PM) in Hall F of the Venetian Macao’s Cotai Expo during the exhibition period. Ticket prices are MOP 80 (approx. NT$300) for adults, MOP 50 (approx. NT$190) for children, and MOP 232 (approx. NT$880) for a family set (4 tickets, minimum one child under 12 required).

An Educational Visual Feast – MGM Macau’s Fantasy Light Journey – “Light · Shadow · Water World”

MGM Macau has introduced the “Fantasy Light Journey” since May, designed with the ocean as its theme. The centerpiece is a cylindrical “Water Dome” surrounded by coral, located in the center of the Sky Pavilion, where over a thousand fish swim, blending the sea with the sky. The main components include a crimson coral palace, the cylindrical “Water Dome,” and large installations of seaweed, bubble ornaments, and schools of fish. Leveraging the unique design of the Sky Pavilion, light and shadow are used to reinterpret the wonders of nature, presenting a fantastical underwater world. The fish displayed inside the “Water Dome” include three small blacktip reef sharks from Australia’s Great Barrier Reef and over a thousand fish species from the South China Sea, such as the brown-marbled grouper, golden snapper, and circlewing butterflyfish. Kids can enjoy watching various species of fish swimming freely in one place.
