The Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications is promoting a local tourism brand “Taiwan Tourism Calendar,” which combines festive events and related information from counties and cities across the country. In addition to the website, there is also a mobile app, allowing the public to easily keep up with the latest event updates whether they're at home or on a trip.

Besides enjoying a relaxing trip in Taiwan, the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications has launched the “Play Taiwan, Win Happiness” promotion to encourage visitors to explore and take photos along the way. Just by taking photos, you could win amazing prizes. The double fun of travel and winning prizes attracts many participants. With numerous summer festivals taking place around Taiwan, including the Yilan Children's Folklore and Handicraft Festival, Gongliao Ocean Music Festival, and Nantou Train Festival, visitors can join the monthly iPad mini lucky draw by checking in via the Taiwan Tourism Calendar app and uploading photos.
