As independent travel becomes more and more popular, booking flights and planning itineraries online is no longer anything new. However, besides not having to wait for standby seats and having all airlines’ fares displayed clearly, the option to choose fares from seven days before and after the departure date, as well as the ability to book outbound and return flight segments separately, makes the “iFly” platform stand out among Taiwan’s travel flight websites with its flexibility and convenience. It has not only received high praise from backpackers but also won the favor of many business travelers.

The iFly ticket booking platform differs from other flight websites in that it offers seats available anytime without the need for standby, and connects directly with airlines to search up to 200 of the lowest-priced available flight options across all carriers in one go. Passengers don’t need to compare prices on each airline’s site, but can access all airlines’ fare information on a single platform. Any price shown means there are available seats, saving the time of repeatedly searching for fares and seat availability. In addition, aside from the originally intended departure date, passengers can view fare combinations for the seven days before and after, totaling 49 days, all on the same screen, eliminating the hassle of repeated fare and seat searches. They can also freely choose their outbound and return flight times. Passengers can select flights segment by segment, and with such a high level of convenience and autonomy, plus diverse itinerary combinations and choices, backpackers and business travelers can freely enjoy a flexible flying experience without restrictions.

In addition, iFly’s membership system and online payment functions have officially launched. First, iFly not only provides a service for managing personal travel records, but also exclusively introduces a “Friends” feature. By creating profiles for everyone who might travel together, those details can be directly used when booking, making it even more convenient for business travelers to manage bookings through a single window. Moreover, the points and cashback mechanism allows travelers to earn points redeemable for fare discounts—long-haul tickets to Europe, the U.S., and Canada earn 2 points, while tickets to other regions earn 1 point. Every 5 points can be redeemed for NT$200, 8 points for NT$450, and 10 points for NT$800. Huang Jieshi, founder of iFly, said: “To allow travelers to enjoy a free and pleasant flying experience, there is no cap on cashback redemption. Frequent business travelers may even have the chance to get free flights through the rebate system. This cashback system also runs parallel to the airlines’ mileage accumulation, meaning that a single purchase earns you double benefits.”

At the same time, iFly also plans to launch an “APP mobile device” booking system, with an “automatic ticketing system” and “reverse international ticket types” to be introduced soon. Reverse international ticket types refer to flight options from overseas to Taiwan, providing diversified services and itinerary planning while enhancing corporate business functionalities.
