The Sepang Circuit in Malaysia has hosted the F1 Grand Prix since 1999. Spanning 5.5 kilometers, it boasts the widest track, longest race distance, and most iconic features—including its banana-leaf-shaped grandstand roof and two straight sections flanking the spectator stands. F1 enthusiasts can get up close at the end of the straights, watching drivers push their engines to the limit, braking hard from 7th gear at 300 km/h down to 2nd gear under 100 km/h. It’s also the perfect spot to catch thrilling overtakes.

This year’s Malaysian GP is the second round of the season, a crucial race for teams and drivers to gauge early-season performance. The newly introduced V6 turbocharged engines deliver greater torque, providing more power in low-speed corners—making the sweeping 180-degree turn after the long straight a key battleground. Expect an action-packed race.

In recent years, hot air ballooning has become one of Taiwan’s most popular outdoor activities, attracting millions of visitors annually to experience its magic. Now in its sixth edition since 2009, the Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta will feature 23 balloons from 11 countries (including the U.S., U.K., Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Spain, France, Australia, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Belgium). Five uniquely shaped balloons (Belgium’s Dark Knight and Ice Cream balloons, plus the U.K.’s motorcycle-shaped balloon) will also take flight. Visitors

Unlike previous years, this year’s Taizi City Hot Air Balloon Carnival has specially planned a “Family Picnic Area” and a “Children’s Play Area,” offering all visitors a brand-new experience and a fresh arrangement. You can purchase a chicken sandwich on-site and sit leisurely with your family on the grass by the lakeside of Taizi City, watching the hot air balloons float in the sky, while enjoying live band performances. The most anticipated part of each day’s event is undoubtedly the nighttime hot air balloon fireworks show. Every evening, all the hot air balloons will gather together, with the flames from the balloons complementing the brilliant fireworks and electrifying music. This spectacular sight and performance are sure to be an unforgettable memory. For more travel information, please visit the website of Tourism Malaysia.

As for the Malaysia Grand Prix Sale, it serves as the annual warm-up event for the F1 Malaysian Grand Prix. This shopping festival allows tourists attending the thrilling Formula One race to shop for goods at incredibly low prices. Kuala Lumpur, once ranked by CNN as the fourth best shopping city in the world, boasts numerous large shopping malls, such as Sungai Wang Plaza, Lot 10, Pavilion, and Fahrenheit. Among them, Pavilion is arguably the most favored shopping mall among Taiwanese travelers. In front of the mall stands a beautiful fountain — The Pavilion Crystal Fountain — designed by Taiwan’s glass crafts brand, I-Ming. Standing 3.6 meters tall and composed of three stacked bowls, it is currently the tallest glass artwork in existence. The engravings on the bowls depict Malaysia’s national flower, the hibiscus, while the three bowls symbolize the peaceful coexistence and harmony of Malaysia’s three major ethnic groups: the Chinese, Malays, and Indians. At night, the exquisite glass shimmers with vibrant colors as the fountain lights dance along with the music. The interplay of lights, music, and the dynamic water choreography infuses the atmosphere with the youthful vibrancy of Malaysia’s tropical, Southeast Asian charm, creating the most dazzling sensory memories for all visitors.
