Flowers can be spotted all over the campus of National Central University. Earlier in the year, early blooms were kicked off by Japanese varieties such as Kawazu-zakura, Daikan-zakura, and Taiyo-zakura. In March, the azaleas along the campus roads, the Tashiro’s pieris and firecracker plants in front of Guoding Hall, as well as the Brazilian irises near Baihua Stream, follow in succession.

In addition, the azaleas along the campus loop road are also blooming one after another, displaying a riot of colorful blossoms. The yellow tabebuias at Building 5 of the Engineering Department and the jacarandas at the College of Liberal Arts have also drawn attention. Moreover, perennial plants such as peace lilies, amaryllis, and rain lilies will continue to bloom from late March to early April, making a campus flower-viewing trip a unique experience.
