Essential information that anyone interested in Hong Kong tourism and hotel updates shouldn’t miss: In early June, the management of Fergurson Hotel Holdings Limited announced that the Hong Kong Nikko Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui will be renamed the Millennium New World Hong Kong Hotel (New World Millennium Hong Kong Hotel) on July 1, 2014. Fergurson Hotel Holdings Limited is a joint venture between Chow Tai Fook and Millennium & Copthorne Hotels Group, while Fergurson Hotel Management Limited consists of New World Hotels and Millennium & Copthorne Hotels Group.

Located along the waterfront, the Millennium New World Hong Kong Hotel will undergo a phased renovation project worth HK$120 million to solidify its reputation as one of the most popular five-star hotels in the Tsim Sha Tsui East commercial and shopping district. The hotel will remain open and continue to accommodate guests from around the world during the renovation period.  

The hotel is situated at Mody Road in Tsim Sha Tsui East and features 464 rooms and suites, seven dining options including an all-day dining restaurant, specialty restaurants, and a lobby lounge. Facilities include a banquet hall and 10 meeting rooms, as well as entertainment amenities such as a fitness center and rooftop swimming pool.
