There are many popular yellow trumpet tree spots in Chiayi, and this time we’re introducing another hidden gem among them.Located near Beixinli in Taibao City, Xidiliao is about a 15-minute drive northwest of downtown Chiayi. Here, you’ll find a whole row of yellow trumpet trees.

Yellow trumpet trees in southern Taiwan usually bloom in March, but thanks to the warm winter, they’ve started flowering as early as late February. The trumpet-shaped blossoms are especially eye-catching on the bare branches since the leaves fall before the flowers emerge.
