Taipei Metro’s Banqiao–Nangang Line will soon open its final station, “Dingpu Station,” expected to be completed and operational by the end of June this year. Serving as both the endpoint of the Banqiao–Nangang Line and the starting point of the Sanxia–Yingge Line, it represents a key milestone in New Taipei City’s “Three Rings and Three Lines” metro construction project. After its opening, commuting will become more convenient for pedestrians, cyclists, and bus riders. Travelers will be able to reach Taipei Main Station in just 30 minutes, saving at least 30 minutes compared to driving.

The interior design of Dingpu Station incorporates elements from the local technology park, using large amounts of glass to create a high-tech feel. It combines modern design with local characteristics. In addition to utilizing natural light, the bright and energy-efficient “Aisle Eye” directly channels daylight to the concourse level. The station also features an LED light wall decorated with the local Tung Blossom motif of Tucheng, blending modern design with regional culture.
