Dōjima Cake Shop is famous for its rich yet not overly sweet cream roll cakes, and in recent years has become a must-try dessert spot for many Taiwanese travelers visiting Japan. This Tanabata season, from July 1 to July 7, the shop has partnered with Sanrio’s HELLO KITTY & MELODY to release the “Summer Friends” themed cake. With the concept of enjoying the summer Milky Way together, the cute cake is surrounded by star-shaped candies and chocolates, creating a magical and adorable look. In addition, Dōjima Cake is also offering special limited-edition items for Tanabata, including a rainbow bridge cake roll topped with fresh fruits and a cream roll dusted with wish-making sugar powder, all to celebrate the festival with everyone.
