The culturally rich Wanhua District of Mengjia not only boasts abundant traditional culture, history, and local cuisine, but what other elements does it hold? The Taipei City Tourism and Communications Bureau held the "Taipei Mini-Trip" – Journey Through Mengjia to See Taipei, inviting Mayor Ko to serve as the spokesperson. He personally explored the area’s century-old historical sites, delicacies, and old shops, leading travelers from all over to journey through time on an urban mini-trip highlighted by Taiwan’s developmental history. This allows visitors to deeply experience the unique charm and character of the Mengjia area. Everyone is welcome to explore Mengjia too.
Mayor Ko’s Mengjia mini-trip will begin atTaipei Renji Hospital, where the Nursery Tablet is not only a designated municipal relic of Taipei but also a testament to the development of relief efforts in the city. Next, head toGushanyuan Hostel, whose exterior showcases the beauty of 1950s retro architecture, while the interior decoration retains the strong vintage charm of early inns, attracting many idol dramas and movies such as "Nylon Pink" and "Mengjia" to film here. The hostel also has a national treasure-level He Xiangu who can fold quilts in up to 42 different styles.

Next, visit Taiwan’s first fashion district –Dali Clothing Street, the underground market of Longshan Temple, and the newly renovatedMengjia Park. Then, enjoy a cool cup of herbal tea in Qingcao Lane, along with famous traditional desserts and Qiezi Noodles.

Mayor Ko also visited a public art exhibition for people with mental disabilities, experienced DIY T-shirt making, and gained firsthand insight into how the “Zhongzheng and Wanhua Revitalization Plan” actively engages with communities through the establishment of community planner studios and collaboration with the Social Housing Promotion Alliance. It not only regularly holds housing forums but also builds local community networks, gradually realizing the revitalization vision of the Zhongzheng and Wanhua areas.
