The Simple Life Festival has arrived—take a stroll through the Taichung market

The “Simple Life Festival,” featuring live music performances, small-scale farmer products, lectures and forums, as well as creative markets, is making its first appearance in Taichung City. This year’s 2015 Simple Life Festival has extended its duration, running for five consecutive days from December 2 to 6. All activities during the festival are completely free—just bring your good mood and a smile to join in.

Japan Starbucks has recently launched a new flavor of Frappuccino—the Peach Pink Fruits Frappuccino (Peach pink fruits frappuccino ピーチ ピンク フルーツ フラペチーノ), which will be exclusively sold at all Starbucks locations across Japan starting July 20, 2018.

The “Peach Pink Fruits Frappuccino” combines various pink-toned fruits. With every sip, you can enjoy the rich layers and fresh fruit textures brought by peaches, strawberries, pink grapefruits, and pomegranates. Not only is it cool and refreshing, but the final touch of pink whipped cream mixed with peach juice adds a sweet and girlish aroma that is simply irresistible.

The Simple Life Festival, which has been held since 2006, is making its first departure from Taipei to Taichung this year and has extended its duration. From December 2 to 4, the “City Stroll” event will be held, inviting everyone to participate in themed film screenings, lectures, and workshops to discover the beautiful corners of Taichung’s urban areas. On December 5 and 6, the “Market Stroll” will take place in Taichung Municipal Park, featuring a creative market with documentary film screenings, musical creations, lifestyle design, and forums on display. The event will also feature nearly 40 music acts, including Xu Jialing, Lei Guangxia, and Chen Shannie, as well as 30 craft experts and 70 market stalls, allowing everyone to enjoy great music and creativity while discovering the beauty that surrounds everyday life.
