Pink Police Station Cherry Blossom Season Kicks Off – Over a Hundred Dreamy Night Blooms Are Pure Romance

The popular Taichung cherry blossom spot “Tai’an Cherry Blossom Season” takes place from February 15 to March 1 each year. With around a hundred cherry blossom trees in full bloom near Tai’an Police Station, the local police station is bathed in pink spring colors and is hailed as the most beautiful police station in Taiwan. It attracts many visitors every year for cherry blossom viewing.

The “Tai’an Cherry Blossom Season” features nearly a hundred peach-pink, festive cherry blossom trees planted along a 200-meter stretch of Anmei Road, including double-flowered cherry (Yaezakura) and Yoshino cherry varieties. Their soft colors and romantic atmosphere beautifully adorn the rural road, offering a chance to witness the splendor of blooming cherry blossoms.

Due to weather conditions this year, the bloom condition has been slightly affected. Currently, about 60–70% of the flowers have bloomed. It is expected that during the 228 holiday, it will be the best time to admire the Tai’an cherry blossoms. Not only are they romantic during the day, but when the blossoms are lit up at night, the glowing night blooms in the darkness offer a uniquely enchanting sight, making it a hot spot for night cherry blossom viewing.

The “Tai’an Cherry Blossom Season” has also partnered with 15 local shops. During the event, visitors can collect stamps by making purchases and participate in a lucky draw. On the final day, March 1 at 2 PM, there will also be a live saxophone orchestra performance on-site.
