Known as one of the top three rock climbing areas in northern Taiwan, the Wuliaojian Trail is a challenging and fun mountain hiking path. The Lingjiaoliao Mountain Hiking Trail offers views of diverse natural vegetation such as acacia trees, camellia trees, and snake root plants. Along the trail, you’ll pass by the “Three Treasures of Lingjiao” (the Tsai Family Western-style House, Wanggu Waterfall, and Lingjiao Ancient Bridge), where you can get an up-close view of the beauty of Wanggu Waterfall—one of the city’s lesser-known secret paradises.

Located by Ku Rou Shan Road near the 4.5 km mark on Beijiaosign Road 8 in Shipi, Shipitianxinzǐ has won praise from many visitors and has been dubbed by netizens as an advanced version of Shuizhongyang, attracting numerous travelers to take photos and check in. It’s garnered a huge response. On a clear, sunny day, you might see blue skies and white clouds reflected on the water’s surface; on cloudy days, there’s a mysterious, foggy atmosphere. At sunset, golden rays bathe the lake, creating a mirror-like scene as picturesque as a painting.
