Universal Studios Japan is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year and has recently announced the opening of a "Minion Park" in 2017. Centered around the popular animated character Minions, the park will feature brand-new rides, an original merchandise shop, and a Minion restaurant, covering an area of 8,400 square meters. Upon opening, it will be the world's largest Minion-themed area.

The brand-new "Minion Park" will be reconstructed from the Back to the Future area, which ceased operations in May. Additionally, a series of promotional events tied to the movie "Despicable Me 3" will be held, along with special merchandise releases, expected to spark a Minion craze.
