Barbie Run Taipei – the first Barbie Run event in Taiwan has kicked off in Taipei City. Following the buzz of Barbie’s 2015 “YOU CAN BE ANYTHING” campaign, this event aims to convey “with Barbie by your side, every little girl can make choices for her own life and make her dreams come true,” as Barbie once again graces the cover of TIME magazine in 2016 in a brand-new look. The Barbie Run is an official event exclusively authorized and organized by Mattel, the global headquarters of Barbie, aiming to spread the new generation Barbie message of “YOU CAN BE ANYTHING” through the energy of running.

To promote the new generation Barbie message of “YOU CAN BE ANYTHING,” this year’s event features races ranging from a 3K short-distance kids’ category to a 21K course, allowing participants of all ages to join. The event site will also feature classic backdrops such as the Barbie Catwalk Stage, Classic Barbie Boxes, Walk into Barbie’s Closet, and Best Male Companion Ken for fans to take photos.

In addition, the organizers have designed a variety of globally exclusive 2016 Barbie Run sports merchandise, including limited-edition running sweatshirts, bibs, drawstring backpacks, sports towels, bottle covers, and finisher medals, ensuring participants leave with full bags and cherished memories.

“Barbie Run # Taipei 2016” is more than just a run – it’s a fitness party that combines beauty, sports, fashion, and health. On December 4, 2016, Barbie will lead everyone to gain confidence through sports and use beauty and strength to surpass dreams.
