A popular pork cutlet shop that many visitors to Tokyo must try is now opening a branch in Taiwan. Officially launching on October 20th, Maisen (known as 舞泉 in Japanese, officially translated as 迈泉 in Taiwan) — famous for its pork cutlets — has opened at A9 of Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Xinyi Store in Taiwan. The interior design carries on the quality and minimalist style of the flagship store in Aoyama, Tokyo. In addition to freshly made meals, pre-packaged sandwiches are also available for takeout, offering food lovers another new choice for enjoying Japanese cuisine.

The news of Maisen’s expansion into Taiwan was also officially announced on the Japanese official website. The brand is being introduced and operated by Taiwan’s LICHEN-MT Co., Ltd., with an official partnership contract signed in May 2016.
