Spring cherry blossoms are in full bloom, drawing many travelers to plan trips around them. Around Taipei’s Water Resources Museum, over 50 “Kawazu-zakura” cherry trees are about to reach peak bloom. Their delicately elegant pink, reminiscent of Japanese aesthetics, contrasts beautifully with the classic European elegance of the museum, creating a uniquely layered spring beauty.

Kawazu-zakura petals are larger than those of typical cherry blossoms. Unlike the deep red of mountain cherries, they have a white-infused red tone, appearing more refined and are favored by wedding photographers and photography enthusiasts. The blooming period is expected to last until the end of February.
