Taiwan’s EasyCard is becoming more and more convenient. In addition to the previously launched trial of the “EasyPay” feature, it has now made its first international move by partnering with Ryukyu Bank, a local bank in Okinawa, Japan. In the future, when traveling to Okinawa, visitors can use Taiwan’s EasyCard to make payments.

The EasyCard Corporation announced a partnership with Ryukyu Bank in Okinawa. Starting this July, visitors to Okinawa can use Taiwan’s EasyCard for small-value payments—simply tap to pay. This not only reduces currency exchange costs but also greatly enhances travel convenience.

The payment services of the EasyCard also plan to continue expanding across Japan, improving convenience for travelers. The launch of its use in Okinawa marks the first time the EasyCard has extended its services overseas. Many fans are also looking forward to it becoming available in even more countries in the future.
