The northeast monsoon weakens and moisture decreases, bringing mostly cloudy to sunny skies across Taiwan, along with a slight rebound in temperatures. Only the easternhalf will see scattered showers. By Wednesday and Thursday next week, due to the influence of the northeast monsoon, brief showers will occur in the northern and eastern regions.

Today (21st), the northeast monsoon weakens, and most areas across Taiwanwill experience mostly cloudy to sunnyweather, with only localized short-term rain in the eastern half. T(22)omorrow, the northeast monsoon will strengthen slightly, bringing localizedshort-term rain to theeastern half, along with scattered brief showers in the north. Areas north of Tainan, the southeasternpart,the Hengchun Peninsula coastalareas,as well as8the9-tostronggusty winds are likely in offshore and nearby sea areas, so caution is advised for coastal activities. Early mornings in the western half may also see localized fog affecting visibility—stayvigilant aboutdriving safety.

However, temperatures in the early morning and at night remainon the cool side., especially in areas north of central Taiwan where temperatures are as low as14,15degrees. During the day, the weather is mostly comfortable, with daytime highs around24to27degrees.The northeast monsoon has weakened slightly, and the environmental wind field has shifted from northeasterly to easterly winds. Wind speeds are weaker in the early morning and at night, making it easier for pollutants to accumulate. Localized fog may affect visibility in parts of western Taiwan.

Meanwhile, on next Wednesday and Thursday, due to the influence of the northeast monsoon, there will be localized brief showers in northern and eastern Taiwan, while other regions will continue to experience mostly cloudy to sunny weather.
