Not only has the matcha craze swept the beverage industry, but the dessert world is also on fire with matcha fever. The Japanese-style dessert Rattisa’s handmade puffs have teamed up with the century-old Japanese matcha specialty store “Nagashi Chabon” to launch seasonally limited Nagashi Matcha Puffs at various Rattisa department store outlets starting March 3.

The classic Rattisa Japanese-style handmade puffs, developed by French Michelin three-star chef Tetsuya Shimada, meet the century-old Japanese matcha specialty store “Nagashi Chabon,” delivering a whole new impact on texture and taste. The soft inner layer and crispy outer layer of the double-layered puff shell, paired with the rich matcha custard filling, offer a perfect blend where the mature bitterness of matcha gives way to a lingering tea sweetness—showcasing the fusion of a century-old tea shop with modern puffs.
