Sushiro Celebrates the Opening of Two New Stores – Limited Gashapon Sushi Lovers Must Try

The popular conveyor belt sushi chain “Sushiro” has opened another new branch, taking advantage of the launch of Taipei Metro’s Circular Line to establish its second earthen-style store in Sanchong. Sushiro “Sanchong MRT Road Store” began trial operations on February 18 and officially opened on February 25. Meanwhile, its fourth southern Taiwan branch has been set up in Dayou Mall Caoya Road, opening as Sushiro “Kaohsiung Caoya Road Store,” which started trial operations on February 25 and officially opens on March 3.

Sushiro “Sanchong MRT Road Store” not only has the most street-front seats of any branch in Taiwan, but its traditional Japanese earthen-style interior perfectly replicates classic Japanese architecture, featuring clean white minimalist exterior walls, delicate roof tiles, and diamond-patterned waistlines, complemented by traditional Japanese red windows—creating an authentic dining experience as if you were in Japan. Additionally, a grand opening promotion is being offered: diners who participate in the FB event from February 18 to March 2 will enjoy a 10% discount.

Sushiro “Kaohsiung Caoya Road Store” is located on the 1F west side of Caoya Road Boulevard and is accessible via Exit 2 of Kaohsiung MRT Caoya Station. To celebrate the new store’s opening, diners who visit Sushiro “Kaohsiung Caoya Road Store” from February 25 to March 9 and participate in the FB event will enjoy a 10% discount.

Additionally, Sushiro introduces the latest February-limited Pokémon Gold & Silver Gashapon, available across all Taiwan branches from February 18 to February 29. Featuring designs of three characters—“Grookey,” “Scorbunny,” and “Sobble”—the gashapon includes a gold prize “Poké Ball-shaped blanket,” a silver prize “Pokémon-shaped keychain,” and other exclusive Pokémon-themed prizes.

To celebrate the consecutive openings of the two new stores in northern and southern Taiwan, Sushiro has specially launched three limited-edition premium sushi items: “Aged Tuna Belly,” “Grilled Tuna Belly,” and “Real Abalone Gunkan.” Additionally, popular Sushiro sushi and exclusive new creations are available for a limited time, including large trout roe gunkan, crab stick tempura with sweet soy sauce, and special sesame sauce shrimp.
