Universal Studios Japan’s much-anticipated Minion Park, which opened in April, has been widely loved by tourists, and the annual summer festival is just around the corner. Universal Studios Japan announced that from June 30 (Fri) to September 3, it will hold the largest number of summer entertainment events in the park’s history. Last year’s water splash party has been expanded into a parade format, with water volume increased by 300% compared to last year, allowing visitors to enjoy an even more spectacular and refreshing experience in terms of scale and variety.

This summer’s Minion Water Splash Surprise Parade will use 300% more water than last year, expanding the areas where you can get completely soaked. Along the parade route, there will be massive water cannons shooting water high into the air and devices showering down large amounts of water from above, creating an impactful waterfall-like rush of water that is sure to be a thrilling ride.

The new SUMMER’SPLASH MARKET, featuring summer food, merchandise, and games, has made its debut. The bustling market offers a variety of cool attractions unique to the season. Additionally, cute Minion-shaped ice shavers in the form of buckets and summer-themed Bob popcorn buckets will also make an appearance.
