It’s currently the most beautiful time of year for Taiwan’s mountain cherry blossoms, with their delicate pink petals bursting into vibrant, colorful bloom. A sea of peachy-pink cherry blossoms is quietly creeping up the hillsides to welcome the arrival of spring.

The mountain cherry blossoms at Qu Chi Cherry Blossom Park are tender and graceful, radiating a romantic atmosphere.
The hottest cherry blossom spot in Xindian has to be Garden City along the Xindian–Wulai Xinwu Road. It mainly features two varieties — mountain cherry blossoms and double-flowered cherry blossoms — stretching across tens of meters in soft, romantic splendor.

Aside from Garden City, a bit further along the road toward Wulai, you’ll find Qu Chi Park — also known as Cherry Blossom Park — located beside Xindian’s Cherry Blossom Street. It’s another great spot for cherry blossom viewing. Dozens of mountain cherry blossoms display a mix of tenderness and charm, with petals gently falling all around, filling the air with romance and instantly catching your eye. Currently, about 80% of the mountain cherry blossoms in the park have bloomed, offering an exceptionally beautiful scene and the perfect time to snap some gorgeous photos.

Along the Xinwu Road near Garden City, pink cherry blossoms form a dreamy blossom-lined boulevard.
In addition to cherry blossom viewing in Xindian, it’s recommended to visit the nearby Galaxy Cave Waterfall after enjoying the blossoms — a secret spot that looks like a fairyland. Alternatively, you can head to Wulai for a hot spring soak, explore the old street, or even catch the night cherry blossoms on your way back. All are excellent choices, so why not plan a romantic half-day cherry blossom tour?
