The now extremely popular "Micro Space" free hosting website (www.idcbt.com) in the webmaster community has erupted like a volcano, instantly becoming the go-to free hosting solution that many webmasters rave about.
This "Micro Space" free hosting site is indeed quite different from other IDCs. Their speed and the quality of their hosting are actually faster than paid ones, with some regions even achieving an insane FTP upload speed of 2000K.
It is said that Micro Space has deployed a genuine gigabit network line, with the annual rent for just this line costing hundreds of thousands — an expense that ordinary commercial IDC companies simply cannot afford. It is estimated that without strong venture capital backing, Micro Space wouldn't be able to afford such high-bandwidth capacity.
However, the registration process for Micro Space is very standardized; you must activate your account via the forum and provide your real identity. This might be a free hosting service that adopts a "real-name system."
The advantage of the real-name system is obvious: without it, illegal website operators could upload illicit content, and in the end, when the server gets taken down, it’s the legitimate website owners who suffer. With the real-name system in place, Micro Space only allows binding with domains that have completed ICP filing.
I think these two measures are very useful. Though a bit troublesome, they don’t take more than an hour to complete.
So, what many see as a hassle actually protects users' interests.
Many small webmasters and newbies are rather self-important, treating a shoddy website as a treasure, some even as their life’s work. They spend their days bragging without any real progress. Yet their prized little site usually gets fewer than 500 daily visitors.
As everyone knows, although hosting is cheaper these days, it still comes with costs. A website with fewer than 500 daily visitors can’t even cover the cost of the hosting. It’s better to use Micro Space.
Small webmasters can fully adopt a “ants-as-an-army” strategy, building multiple websites, all using Micro Space, and then keeping all the ad revenue for themselves.
Although we say having ideals is good, for those running websites, making money should come first. Someone whose hosting fees are still paid by their parents is someone to be looked down upon. A website that can’t even cover its own hosting costs is a website to be looked down upon.
The emergence of Micro Space (www.idcbt.com) is like a ray of light for small webmasters. We can now build websites completely cost-free, with free cloud hosting and free MySQL databases.
