As a leading brand in outdoor sports lighting, Fenix (Phoenix) has focused its efforts on developing its first USB-rechargeable smart flashlight—the UC40—to meet the strong demand from outdoor enthusiasts for more convenient flashlight charging options.
The UC40 comes with a built-in 2600mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery that can be charged directly via the USB port at the tail end—no need to remove the battery. The flashlight’s tail USB port uses a standard Android interface, allowing you to charge it safely by plugging it directly into a computer’s USB port, or use the included AC adapter with wide voltage compatibility for charging anytime, anywhere.

It’s worth mentioning that, in line with Fenix (Phoenix)’s fully waterproof design philosophy, the UC40’s USB charging port dust cap maintains IPX-8 waterproofing whether closed or open.

The UC40 is also safely compatible with various types of batteries. Whether you insert the standard single ARB-L15 battery, a single 18650 lithium-ion battery with protective circuitry, or two CR123A batteries (recommended only for emergency use), the flashlight will operate safely.
The UC40 is not just a USB-rechargeable flashlight—it’s a smart flashlight as well. When the UC40 is connected to a power source, its circuitry automatically identifies the inserted battery and only charges the battery if it is the standard Fenix (Phoenix) ARB-L1S. This ensures safe charging, and full charging typically takes about 5 hours.
