As the official race on September 28 draws near, participants of the 8-Hour Charity Hiking Trail Run have entered a period of intensive preparation. To help them better adapt to the event, on August 24, the organizing committee held the second scientific training run warm-up activity at Olympic Forest Park.
The early morning at Olympic Forest Park attracted many running enthusiasts for exercise, including, of course, participants of the 8-Hour Charity Hiking Trail Run. This time, we invited professional running coach Coach A Liang to guide the participants. In addition to leading them through warm-up exercises and stretching routines, the coach also taught many daily training methods. Participants actively joined the discussions, creating a lively atmosphere. Although many were running a 10-kilometer session for the first time, everyone safely and successfully completed the task. We were moved by their courage to challenge themselves and determination to persevere. After the training, Meng Guangping, the individual champion of the previous edition, shared his fundraising experience. The relaxed and joyful atmosphere of the sharing session also drew a crowd of onlookers, many of whom expressed support for the event and willingness to participate, voluntarily becoming ambassadors for the 8-Hour Charity Hiking Trail Run.
To provide better services for participants, the 8-Hour Charity Hiking Trail Run organizing committee will also organize the third scientific training run warm-up activity on September 7 at Olympic Forest Park, covering a distance of 15.6 kilometers.
