The salon’s special guest, The North Face?skier Wang Zhi? (XFOX), was born in 1983 in a small town in Heilongjiang. In 2001, he joined the Peking University Mountain Eagle Club to engage in outdoor activities such as rock climbing and mountaineering. He started skiing in 2005 and has been passionate about it ever since. Over the past eight years, he has achieved excellent results in numerous competitions and won first place in snowboarding and fifth place in alpine skiing at the 2012 The North Face?Extreme Freeride Challenge. From a beginner, he worked his way up to become a brand-sponsored rider. He transitioned from being a snowboarder to striving for proficiency in both snowboarding and alpine skiing, and has now become one of China’s top freestyle snowboarders and alpine skiers.
Wang Zhi? (XFOX) will share his skiing career and recount the exciting journey of participating in the 2012 The North Face?Extreme Freeride Challenge. Excitingly, he will also exchange snowboarding techniques and share skiing experiences with everyone, joining in the thrill of skiing together with him.
