Starting Sunday, February 16, 303 health centers have been added as real-name mask purchase locations, bringing the total to health centers in 19 counties and cities.

Note: Some people line up according to the last digit of their ID number but forget that they can only buy two masks per week, resulting in waiting in line without being able to purchase. Please be aware.
Purchase rules are as follows:
1. Each National Health Insurance (NHI) card can purchase 2 masks at a time for NT$10 each. Purchases can only be made again after 7 days (i.e., 7 days after the previous purchase date. For example: if you buy 2 masks on February 16, the next purchase can be made after February 23, and so on).
2. To stagger purchasing crowds, those with even last digits of their ID number can buy on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays; those with odd last digits can buy on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Sundays have no ID number restrictions and are open to all. (0 is considered an even number).
3. Children’s masks are only available for purchase with children’s NHI cards for those under 12 years old (born in or after 1998, regardless of month or day). NHI cards for those 13 and older can only be used to buy adult masks.
4. Those holding the above-mentioned children’s NHI cards (for those under 12) may choose to buy either adult or children’s masks based on their needs.
5. Each person may hold only one other person’s NHI card for proxy purchase at a time (even if you are not buying for yourself, you may only hold one NHI card at a time), and must follow the above rules 1–4 for purchasing.
6. Foreign nationals who do not qualify for NHI coverage may use their residence permits to purchase masks according to the above rules 1–5.
