One more dreamy pink cherry blossom photo spot added to the list！A hidden mountain enclave boasts breathtaking cherry blossom views

Right in the peak season of cherry blossom blooms, cherry trees across Taiwan are blossoming one after another, with those in Alishan being one of the island’s most famous viewing spots. The entire Greater Alishan National Scenic Area features a variety of stunning cherry blossom scenes.

The Camellia-cherries usually reach their peak bloom in early February, mainly distributed along the northwest corridors such as Taihe, Taixing, and Taiping. It's actually less common to see them in full bloom along the Alishan Highway.

Currently, the most spectacular blossom display can be found at the Camellia-cherries of the Cherry Evergreen Residence near Dingshizhuo, visible even from the parking lots of Dinghu and the Mihu Trail.

As for the much-anticipated Somei-yoshino cherry blossoms, their blooming period generally begins in mid to late February. Starting from Dinghu, they gradually enter full bloom, and about a week later, they reach their prime viewing period.

However, the recent weather has been quite unstable, and slightly poor conditions may affect travelers’ plans to go up the mountain for blossom viewing. Hopefully, the weather will gradually improve in late February, allowing travelers to plan a trip up to enjoy these beautiful cherry blossoms.
