The annual romantic North Cross-Island Highway cherry blossom season has arrived, kicking off spring travel. Along the North Cross-Island Highway all the way to Lalashan’s Balin area, peach-pink cherry blossoms are blooming in succession along the altitude and climate gradients, dotting the emerald green mountains and forests, creating a beautiful and romantic scene.

Cherry blossom blooms are everywhere during the Taoyuan North Cross-Island Highway Cherry Blossom Season.
The “2020 North Cross-Island Highway Cherry Blossom Season event” began on February 22. Not only are pink cherry blossoms in full bloom across the mountains, but the event also includes a North Cross-Island Highway Cherry Blossom Warrior Cycling Certification Activity and a Cherry Blossom Season Photography Competition.
Cherry blossoms blooming among the mountains are even more enchanting.
This cherry blossom season also introduces a Cherry Blossom Warrior cycling activity.
This year’s North Cross-Island Highway “Cherry Blossom Warrior” cycling event will be held on February 22 and 23. It features a Lalashan challenge route, starting from the Touluo Guofang Memorial Hall, following Provincial Highway 7 to the Luofu Shengxing Temple checkpoint, and ending at the Lalashan Visitor Center. You can enjoy cycling while admiring the flowers, making for a particularly pleasant experience.

There’s also a cherry blossom photography competition you can participate in.
