This material is completely different from traditional ones. Through a special process, it bonds firmly with the sole material without the need for stitching. The eco-friendly KPU material offers excellent wear resistance, slip resistance, and flexibility. “When used in finished shoes, it provides a completely new visual effect,” said Huang You’an, General Manager of Roadch, in an interview with Global Shoes Network. “The raw materials we use are solvent-free PU, guaranteeing 100% environmental friendliness. Additionally, our products come in various hardness levels to meet different customer needs.”
The company has already established long-term and stable strategic partnerships with several well-known domestic and international brands, including American CAT. Producing “non-toxic, harmless, and environmentally friendly” products has become Roadch’s key advantage in market expansion. Currently, Roadch’s domestic market covers three major shoe production bases in Zhejiang, Guangdong, and Fujian, and the company has begun exploring international markets, exporting its products to the United States, Germany, Japan, and South Korea.
“Business development must be grounded and steady.”
Huang You’an revealed that the company now has three production lines dedicated to KPU upper manufacturing. In addition, Roadch Shoe Material has a retail store in Jinjiang and its own dedicated sales channels. Leading technology, high product quality, a professional team, and stable sales channels all provide solid support for Roadch’s development.

A company must have its own innovative technology products to gain a competitive edge in the market. Speaking through innovative products is the way for shoe material enterprises to establish themselves in the broader market. From a developmental perspective, offering unique and innovative products can not only attract downstream companies to choose and purchase them but also contribute to the technological innovation of traditional industries.
Huang You’an admitted that Roadch still needs to make greater efforts in the future. On one hand, due to the limitations of the KPU process, its production volume is smaller compared to traditional methods, so increasing output is necessary to meet market demand. On the other hand, quality management must be strengthened to ensure product consistency. Furthermore, Roadch needs to accumulate more customer resources and work toward automating and mechanizing its production processes. In Huang’s view, “Business development cannot rely on shortcuts — it must be grounded and steady.”
Next year, Roadch will add more production lines to increase output. Notably, the company also plans to explore the finished shoe market. “Using our own KPU process to make our own shoes,” Huang You’an said. That’s our goal for next year.
