The Youkeng Waterfall is located between Sandiaoling and Dahu on the Pingxi Line. Travelers can take the Pingxi Line to Sandiaoling Station, then walk toward Pingxi, go through the underpass past Shuoren Elementary School and the iron bridge to find the trailhead of the Youkeng Ancient Trail.

After entering the ancient trail, follow the fork toward Youkeng Mountain. Walk along the signs around Sanqing Temple to the station, then head toward the railway tunnel. After passing through two tunnels, you’ll see the Youkeng Waterfall.

However, since part of the path follows the railway, hikers should take note of the train schedule before departure and stay alert for trains to avoid accidents and ensure safety.

The Nine-Tier Waterfall is hidden deep in the forest with poor signal. Travelers should go with experienced hikers and do their homework to avoid getting lost due to unfamiliar routes.
