After a night of rest, the Tailing-Baosen “Dream Riders” shook off the fatigue of the previous day. On September 19, after breakfast, the team bid farewell to the charming city of Kangding and set off for Zheduo Mountain, which stands at an altitude of 4,298 meters.

As the altitude continued to rise, the road conditions became increasingly challenging. “Altitude sickness,” “rugged roads,” “landslides and gravel,” “zigzag turns”… The journey to Zheduo Mountain was full of challenges. Before setting off, the team leader had warned everyone to pay attention to their bikes’ condition and ride cautiously without any laxity. Thanks to the wide and tech-enabled Baosen intelligent torque sensor, climbing felt effortless. However, the weather had other plans, as a drizzle began to fall. The team leader decided to press on through the wind and rain. Tested by altitude sickness and the cold climate, the “Dream Riders” rode their Tailing cloud-power smart electric motorcycles toward the summit of Zheduo Mountain. The north wind sang their anthem, the falling rain accompanied their dance. After relentless effort, the team finally reached the peak of Zheduo Mountain.

However, right at the summit of Zheduo Mountain, at an altitude of 4,298 meters, the team’s progress came to a halt. Due to road construction ahead, the team was stuck at the mountain’s peak and had no choice but to take a break on the spot. The cold wind chilled them to the bone, but the riders didn’t let the harsh weather dampen their spirits even slightly. Once the road reopened, the team descended the mountain and headed toward Waze Township.

After spending a long time at high altitudes, the challenges were not limited to difficult road conditions. There was also an unwelcome guest that could not be avoided—altitude sickness. This uninvited visitor left several team members feeling downcast. Coupled with the low temperatures, some even began to show symptoms of a cold, forcing the team to take a rest to recover. After carefully checking the riders’ physical conditions, the team leader decided to press on toward the next destination.
