Joyful Taiji Lake – Multiple Ways to Celebrate National Day
The Taiji Lake Eco-Cultural Tourism Area is located at the foot of Mount Wudang, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a sacred Taoist mountain, and a national 5A-level tourist attraction. With a water area of 1,050 square kilometers—three times the size of Qiandao Lake—it is the largest man-made lake in China. The area boasts picturesque scenery and distinct seasons, and its water park offers thrilling new experiences. In addition to speedboats, jet skis, parasailing, and banana boat rides, Taiji Lake will unveil a new attraction on October 1st: the A2C light seaplane. This will also be the first seaplane in northwestern Hubei. Visitors can experience the thrill of soaring through the sky alongside birds, and enjoy a variety of exciting aerial performances.
A2C Light Seaplane Set to Take Off at Taiji Lake for National Day
The A2C light seaplane is China’s first ultra-light seaplane to receive production certification. It has a length of 6.6 meters, a height of 3.2 meters, and a wingspan of 11 meters. Designed as a two-seater with aerodynamic features, it offers excellent gliding performance without power. With advantages such as high stability, strong horsepower, and large load capacity, it provides unmatched safety compared to other ultra-light aircraft. Powered by an Austrian ROTAX 912 four-stroke aviation engine, the plane can soar through the sky or land gently on the lake. Thanks to its compact size, light weight, and high safety factor, visitors can enjoy an unforgettable date with the blue sky, take in the full view of Taiji Lake, and explore a unique landscape.
