To help children develop awareness of safe cycling from an early age, the Asian Cycling Expo has established the "Children's Safe Cycling Public Welfare Fund," which has received attention and support from many exhibitors. This morning, at Hall C of the Nanjing International Expo Center, the "Family Fun – Kids Challenge" event, themed "Baby Care Action," thrilled the crowd.

According to organizers, in just three hours, 341 children participated in the cycling competition, drawing a huge crowd. Through the fun-filled races, parents and children shared knowledge about cycling safety and also received free cartoon helmets sponsored by MOON and RANKING. "This event is fantastic. My little one rode three laps around the track and didn’t want to come out. After the race, he even got a certificate—he was so excited. The awarded helmet looks very professional and is great quality. I have to give your expo 32 thumbs up!" a mother named Haibao happily told our reporter.

The success of the event is not only due to the efforts of the organizers but also the active support of the exhibitors. The children’s bike brands sponsoring the event included First Bike, Norco, and Specialized (Trek), among others. During the event, our reporter visited the booths of these brands and received unanimous praise. "We focus on participating in and sponsoring public welfare activities. Paying attention to children's cycling safety is something we’ve always been committed to. Safe cycling starts with the kids—this kind of event is wonderful," said Luo Shazhou, Marketing Manager of Specialized (Trek).

Our reporter also spotted a pedal-less bike in the competition area—First Bike. "This bike is different from traditional children’s bikes; you could also call it a balance bike. It focuses more on developing children’s cerebellar balance, enhancing motor skills, fostering independence, and boosting confidence," said Wang Jiaxun, the person in charge of the booth from Xiamen CanYun Trading Co., Ltd., who was very satisfied with the children's safe cycling event.

The two types of children’s helmets given out for free at the event looked really cool. "Safety education must start with children. Sweat, not blood, should be the outcome of sports," said Tang Jian, person in charge of the MOON booth, which sponsored the helmets. "Our original intention in providing helmets is to encourage parents to teach their children from an early age how to use relevant cycling safety gear, to make them aware of cycling safety, and to help them develop the ability to handle emergencies," a brand manager from RANKING told our reporter.

Alongside the children’s cycling activity, there was also an art experience zone from Eastern Kids. Children who participated in the on-site races could also try painting on masks and balloons in this area. "Unleashing children’s imagination—everything can be a subject for art. That’s the message we want to convey to the kids," said Zhang Xue, supervisor of the Eastern Kids Aoti Campus. "If there are cycling events at the Asian Cycling Expo again next time, we hope to continue joining hands with the cycling activities. A mix of movement and creativity lets children enjoy healthy outdoor sports while also experiencing the inspiration of art."

"The reason the Asian Cycling Expo established the Children's Safe Cycling Public Welfare Fund is to cultivate awareness of safe cycling among young people and ensure protection during sports. We will continue this activity—not only during the expo but also possibly outside of it, and even in other regions across the country—to comprehensively promote cycling culture," said Li Hao, General Manager of Nanjing Ningfei International Exhibition Co., Ltd.
